1. Who we are
RELAYR (a small-batch lighting brand) is the controller of personal data collected through this website. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, use the contact route described in section «Your rights».
2. Data we process
We may process:
- Contact form: name, email address, subject, and message you choose to send.
- Website: language preference stored in your browser (localStorage) only to remember PT/EN between visits.
- Instagram: if you follow the link to Instagram, Meta’s policies apply; our site does not receive your follower list.
We do not sell contact lists or commercial profiles based on this data.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your request — when you use the contact form: legitimate interest in handling information / pre-contract requests, or consent implied by sending the message.
- Technical operation — language preference: legitimate interest (user experience).
4. Retention
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and, in general, for up to two years after the last contact, unless a longer legal retention duty applies. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see below).
5. Recipients and transfers
If you submit the form through a third-party service (e.g. Formspree), data may be processed by that provider, possibly outside the European Economic Area, under standard contractual clauses or other GDPR safeguards.
Hosting and email may involve processors bound by confidentiality and data-protection agreements.
6. Cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on our side. Language preference is stored locally on your device (localStorage) without additional identification by RELAYR.
7. Your rights
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access your data and obtain information about processing;
- Rectify inaccurate data;
- Request erasure («right to be forgotten»), where applicable;
- Object or request restriction of processing, where the law allows;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
To exercise these rights regarding data processed by RELAYR, email the public contact address shown on the site (e.g. the one used in the form or on Instagram). We will respond within the statutory timeframe.
8. Security
We apply appropriate measures against unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction of data. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe there has been an incident, contact us immediately.
9. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The date at the top shows the last revision. Material changes will be signposted on the site when reasonable.
